Canal Authority Pumping Update
- The small pump at the Canal has been running for 2 days.
- The two large pumps hav e been running since 6 AM this morning to pro-actively lower lake levels by some 5 inches below normal. Two more temporary pumps have been installed as an emergency back-up.
This should address the anticipated rain-fall and provide ample capacity according to the operators.
