Hello neighbors!   Sawmill Lakes is one of the most enthusiastic communities in Ponte Vedra – our community spirit is terrific!  We are even known in the local news media for some of our events. We are now forming a committee to start creating more social activities for Sawmill Lakes. Past Events in Sawmill Lakes have included:

  • 10th Anniversary Party
  • Fourth of July Parade
  • Community Garage Sales
  • Luminary Night
  • Spring Egg Hunt

Did you know most of the above events were coordinated by just 1 or 2 people?  It doesn’t take much time to coordinate a single event, and this committee would be a great way to meet other SML neighbors.   Join the committee with a friend!  This is also a great way to make other events you’d like to see happen (community pot luck dinners; game night at the SML community center; martini night at the SML community center, etc.) The more people willing to get involved and help with an event, the more events we can do (and many hands make for light work!)!!

If you would like to help enhance our events in Sawmill Lakes, give your kids (or grandkids, or pets!) some great memories, and teach them the value of community spirit, please respond back to me, Laura Morey, via email

Thanks for your time and enthusiasm!

Volunteers are needed to help with events.  Let's get together!!!
